Embroidery on knitted fabrics requires certain rules to ensure that the programme is carried out flawlessly and the work is carried out accurately. The basic rule is that the buttonhole thread must be the same thickness as for the knitting itself. If you embroider with a thin thread, it is not possible to completely hide the knitting of the lower thread, but a very thick thread will look coarse.
When working on this kind of embroidery, make sure that the loops are not too tight, otherwise the knitting will be smooth and shapeless. Choose a needle with a blunt end for embroidering on knitted fabric. This will prevent the needle from sticking to the yarn and delaminating it.

You can use embroidery thread loops of the same thickness as our knitted garment as decoration on knitted items. Such good embroidery will adorn the clothes of adults and children. Embroider coveted animal and human figures as well as pretty flowers. For this you will need a simple pattern, which you can find or make yourself. The knitted fabric may be dampened with water and then dried before being joined together. This is to align the loops in the product, which will improve the quality of the embroidery. Start by tucking the thread into the needle with the blunt end, and then thread it to the wrong side on the front, leaving a small pony on the wrong side. Fill in the embroidery as it moves.
Put on the person you want to display on the buttonhole foot and then screw on the extraction loop. Then go back down again and thread the needle into the base again. Immediately afterwards, thread out the following horizontal loops in the base. Then insert the needle vertically upwards into the loop, descend downwards until it is threaded and proceed to the next rule on the horizontal loop. The recommendations for this kind of embroidery on knitted fabric are a programme that must be followed. This is to accurately count the number of stitches in each horizontal row. Once you have finished embroidering the loops of the first horizontal row, you should move on to the next vertical line.
They do their job, we make sure that all the threads run smoothly and are tightened more than necessary. It is better to leave them more loose. The second row was carried out in the same way as the first row, it moves horizontally from circle to circle, in the opposite direction to the first row. As we have already noticed, our embroidery starts at the bottom row and goes upwards. Having finished the second horizontal row according to the diagram, move on to the next vertical third row. Now the sewing direction will coincide with the first row. If it starts from right to left, the second row goes from left to right and the third row goes first, from right to left.

This embroidery is very similar to a very knitted fabric and is suitable for any pattern, whether it is a geometric figure or a flower. In this article, the embroidery technique remains the same, just be careful to follow the system carefully. When the work is almost finished, we need to hide the end of the thread from the inside, hold it under the crochet loop and tighten the knot. Finished embroidery Be sure to lay the damp cloth down for ten or fifteen minutes and then allow it to dry.

Satin stitching on knitted fabrics

Embroidery on knitted fabrics can be created not only with buttonholes, but also with other methods such as embroidery. This type of sewing in the design and decoration of hats for children and adults is particularly suitable. To do this, we must first draw a schematic drawing, which we then transfer to the knitted fabric,
And the pattern can be studied in an article for beginner embroiderers. Transfer our system to tracing paper, paste the perimeter pattern onto the canvas. Afterwards you need to carefully remove the tracing paper. Buy a large set of needles with a large eye, as the yarn must pass freely through the eye of the needle.

It is best to choose a yarn with a small percentage of viscose. The fact is that 100% viscose slips into your hands and does not adhere to the knitted fabric. Natural silk yarn is very good to use. The thickness of the embroidery yarn must be the same as the thickness of the knitted fabric yarn. If you can see stitches between the fabrics, select an even thicker yarn. Embroidering with the same thread as the garment itself looks very beautiful. It's particularly good with
flowers. Even if you embroider just one flower, it will still be a decoration for any knitted garment.
Embroidery colours that use different thicknesses of yarn look very unusual. If gaps are left between the stitches, they can be filled with Iris thread. Such work is best done at the table.

It is very common for various craftsmen to use embroidered details to embellish knitted fabrics. Now consider embellishing your socks with little rosettes, which add personality to each piece. They are driven by a 'spider' and are very simple. Such ornaments can be done in a chaotic order or in a line, as you like. The colours pink can be the same or different, perhaps. If your toes don't cover the ruffles, fix them next to your toe to help you with this embroidered detail.

To start the needlepoint, sew the side of the flap onto the face and then pierce the entire sock, leaving it on the wrong side. In the sock, a flap is pierced that performs the binding of the two parts together. After all, the strands come out from the same lobe point as the first time. Mentally represent the drawn STAR and the working thread, trying to highlight the five rays. After sewing a thread from each bundle is drawn through the suggested centre of our star.
Once the embroidery is complete, the star begins to braid its rays in a staggered pattern. When the first ray entangles the weft and the second, which has the bottom of the yarn, the bundle. In this way, all five bundles continue to intersect, turning the yarn up and down in a circular pattern. Finish the first row, and immediately continue embroidering on the second circle, finishing the second row. In the second row, move the thread. Where indicated, on the lower beam, supporting it, and vice versa. You have to embroider our snowflake until the entire space is filled with thread. In the centre of the rose, the threads should be tightened tightly to form a dense bud.

But when the outer rows are tightened with thread, the volume of the rose need not be added. Making rosettes from woolen thread is very handy, as any missing embroidery is easy to cover up and line up. It is very good to make embellishments for children's clothes. You can sew a bead or beads in the centre of the rosette, which will add to its beauty. If you have green wool thread, you can embroider rosettes near more small leaves.
We will only need a pre-washed and well-steamed iron, so that the embroidery itself is not deformed later on. While all the rays of our star are already covered in embroidery, you will need to thread another round to give the amount of the flower. After embroidering the rose, draw the thread onto the underside of the bow and secure the ends well. The reverse rosette is the snowflake. All the decorations are on the flap, keeping the left side. If you have a desire to remove the roses from your piece, you can easily do so by cutting the snowflake bundles. In this case the flower will be removed immediately. The knitting will not deteriorate or warp in this way. Therefore, this type of decoration turns out to be very comfortable and delicate.
